Reading to Heathrow — the journey
The run from Reading to Heathrow is typically around 26–30 miles and, in normal traffic, takes roughly 45 minutes to an hour — almost all of it a straight shot east along the M4. We watch live traffic and set your pick-up time so you reach the terminal with comfortable time to spare, without leaving hours too early.
For your outbound flight we collect you from your home, office or hotel and drop you at your departure terminal (2, 3, 4 or 5). Fares & extra charges
We don’t use meters or surge pricing. The quote you see before booking is a fixed price for the journey, the vehicle and the details you give us, and it already includes the charges below where they apply:
- A £7 Heathrow drop-off charge is included in your quote — Heathrow charges every vehicle that enters the terminal drop-off zones, so we build it in rather than surprising you later.
- Journeys that start between 23:00 and 05:00 include a 15% night surcharge, shown in the quote before you book.
- Reading–Heathrow is a short, popular route, so a sensible minimum fare applies; your exact price is confirmed in the live quote.
- Additional pick-ups or drop-offs on the way are charged per the quote — add them and the price updates instantly.
Airport waiting. Once your flight has landed you have 45 minutes of free waiting to clear immigration, customs and baggage reclaim and reach your chauffeur. If you need longer than that, waiting is charged at £1.00 per minute from the 46th minute, plus any terminal car-park charge your driver incurs while waiting — both are added to your fare and settled with your driver. Frequently asked questions
Can you collect me from Heathrow and bring me back to Reading?
Yes. Heathrow to Reading transfers are exactly the same fixed-fare service in reverse — tell us your flight number and we'll track it and meet you after arrivals.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We track inbound flights, so your pick-up time follows the actual landing time automatically. There's nothing you need to do, and complimentary waiting is included after you land.
Which terminal do you drop off and pick up at?
All of them — Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5. Tell us your terminal (or flight number) when booking and we'll take you to the right one.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as you can for peace of mind, especially for early-morning departures. We take same-day bookings subject to availability — if it's urgent, call us on 01183 111 500.
How much luggage can you take?
Our executive saloons carry a few cases comfortably; for larger parties or lots of luggage choose the E-Class Estate or the six-seat V-Class. Capacities are listed above.
Are there any charges on top of my quote?
Your quote is a fixed price for the journey and already includes the airport drop-off fee (where that airport charges one). After you land you have 45 minutes' free waiting; if you need longer, waiting is £1.00 per minute from the 46th minute, plus any terminal car-park charge your driver incurs — both settled with your driver. Journeys starting between 23:00 and 05:00 include a 15% night surcharge, and a drop within central London's charging zone adds the congestion charge; all of these are shown in your quote or explained in our terms before you travel.
